Hey guys! It's Keisha, one of Jenny's best friends here.

We decided to break the tie in the comments and split up our team. Izzy and I decided to work on the code while Jenny and Lori work on the license plate numbers. They figured out that the two license plates are the same, but one is backwards. See for yourself!

Do you guys think it's a coincidence? Let us know in the comments!!!

Meanwhile, Izzy and I are still stuck on the code. If you have any ideas, please please please let us know.

Aunt Gloria is still busy with her work (she's an artist) so she hasn't been much help. That's why we need you guys!!

Jenny felt a little guilty about not having more information for you guys so she made me attach this riddle for you guys to solve just for fun while we're working. So here it is. Note: Jenny picked it out not me so that should explain why it's so stupid.

Riddle: I am always hungry and must be constantly fed, but the moment you give me a drink of water, I die. Whatever I touch will soon turn red. I have no lungs, but I require air to live. What am I?

Let us know what you think in the comments!!!

Hey guys, it's Jenny!

I need some help.

You see, my friends (plus my adopted sister, Lori) and I are battling this tough case right now, and we're kind of stumped. We were all hanging out after school just like every other day, and we were walking around the block. We decided to stop by a bakery and pick up some donut holes for a snack, and we started walking back to my house. We were talking about this big trip we were taking soon to Alaska to visit my aunt, a somewhat well-known artist, who had a tough case for us to solve.

Right as we were crossing the street to reach my house, a car came speeding down the road, not stopping, though they clearly saw us. In fact, they seemed to be aiming for us on purpose! We had no choice but to jump out of the way, crashing into the dirt painfully as the car zoomed past. Lori wanted to chase after the car, but Izzy suggested getting inside the house before they came back. So we rushed into the house. As I was closing the door, I saw the car back up and sit in front of the house for a moment. A pair of unusual gray steel eyes locked with mine before the car sped off down the road. But not before Keisha had taken a picture of the license plate. JYD825

I told my parents what had happened, and we reported everything to the police, including the license plate number. The police searched it in their database and called us back a day or two later, informing us that it could not be found in their database. This was suspicious, and so I decided to investigate. Lori helped, and we searched the road in front of our house until I found what I was looking for - skidmarks. We measured the marks' length and width and took a picture of them from multiple angles. Then we had to head inside and pack for our trip to Alaska!

The next day, after three long plane rides, Izzy, Keisha, Lori, and I arrived in Sitka, Alaska, where my Aunt Gloria was waiting with open arms. And it was cold. We drove in her car, headed to her house, as she told us the details surrounding her case. She described how a few weeks ago, a robber broke into her house and stole her credit card as well as her driver's license and identification. By the time Aunt Gloria had woken up, the robber was climbing into their car. My aunt threw aside her curtain in just enough time to catch the license plate. 528DYJ. Aunt Gloria raced outside, but it was too late. But there were skidmarks at the end of her driveway. Plus, when Aunt Gloria went to survey the damage done inside, she found a small card belonging to the robber that said:

arde temat, ngmeeti httonig @ rthea kela. ssdiscu nspla orf iaglor ftthe. - gge

Where should we begin investigating?

1. The license plate numbers

2. Solving the code

3. The skidmarks

4. The missing items

5. Different suggestion

What are your suspicions???

PUT YOUR INPUT IN THE COMMENTS! ↓ AUNT GLORIA NEEDS YOUR HELP!!! And make sure to check back on Saturday for an update!

Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog: The Jenny Files!

My name is Jennifer Thomas (a.k.a Jenny), and if you've read either of my adventures: The Hidden Diamond or The Missing Million Dollars, then you already know a lot about me. If you haven't read them yet, might I suggest you get on that right away? It'll tell you everything you need to know about me, plus some really exciting stories about my adventures as a detective.

That's right—a detective.

On my blog, you'll be able to be a detective too by following my latest adventures with my best friends, Izzy and Keisha, as well as my adoptive sister, Lori. Sometimes, we'll need your help solving the mystery, so make sure you comment and leave your input! We need it!

You'll also be able to hear wacky stories from my life in Hawaii while you wait for me to finish writing down what happened in my third and final adventure of the diamond series. I promise I'm writing it as fast as I can! But you know, when duty calls as a detective, I've got to solve the case.

In the meantime, make sure to check out my blog every Monday and Saturday and comment to solve codes, riddles, hear funny stories, and help my friends and me on our latest adventures.

Look forward to working with you real soon!

Jennifer Thomas
